I am Henna Okker, a world traveler from Finland. I have spent over 10 years of my adult life living around the world, studying, working, adventuring and practicing yoga.

I am a yoga teacher, sound bowl relaxation practitioner, Shiatsu masseuse and Reiki healer. I also offer dry cupping. All of these are important and dear traditions to me, ways to support both my own and my clients’ holistic wellbeing.

My life’s mission is to hold space with acceptance and gentleness, whether meeting clients in a yoga class, on the treatment mat, or anywhere else. To make the world a slightly better place, one person at a time.

I first discovered yoga in my early twenties while doing an internship in Senegal, feeling unwell in every possible way without really knowing why. I ended up joining a friend for an Ashtanga yoga class and, for the first time, I experienced how my body, mind and soul form one whole and are aligned with each other. I realised that before I had only thought this to be true, and now I felt it in every cell of my being. 

After that, yoga and meditation carried me around the world. I have studied yoga, meditation and Reiki in India, England and Sweden, and have taught yoga in places such as Panama and Guatemala.

Since then I have discovered the world of traditional Chinese medicine, which both, Yin yoga and Shiatsu massage are based on. In addition to these, crystal singing bowls have been wonderful supporters of health and wellbeing for me.

I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology and have also studied, among other things, sustainable development and human rights in Uganda.

By nature, I am constantly curious, open and interested in the world. I love meeting new people, learning through experiences and seeing life in all its colours. At the same time, I am also an introvert who needs time and space alone.

My purpose is to share everything that I have taken in from these experiences so far. Loving, circling, learning and experiencing the world.

The intention is to support the holistic wellbeing of every person I encounter, in the best possible way <3
